Admission Process

How to Apply

At British Nigerian Academy, we are committed to providing a fair and transparent admission process. Our policies ensure that every applicant is evaluated comprehensively, with the final admission decision made by the Head of Schools or the School Principal.

Purchase Admission Forms

Forms are available at the school for ₦15,000 for Secondary School and ₦10,000 for Primary School.

Entrance Examinations

Three entrance examinations are held annually on different days. Dates will be announced to current parents and advertised on social media.

Eligible Classes
  • Applications are accepted for JS1, JS2, SS1, and SS2.
  • Admissions to JS3 or SS3 are based on special requests, exam outcomes, and adherence to policy considerations.
Age Requirement

Students must be 10 years old by August 31st of the year they seek admission for JS1.

Oral Discussion

A short discussion will be conducted to assess oral skills in line with our language policy.

Marking and Review

Exams are marked by departmental heads and reviewed by the Principal.

Post-Examination Process

Results Review

Examination results are shared with parents. A meeting will be arranged to discuss the student's performance and subject choices for senior classes.

Additional Support

For students needing extra help in English, Mathematics, or Science, parents will be advised to provide additional support.

Scholarship Opportunities

Once in a while, British Nigerian Academy introduces scholarship examinations to reward excellence in the following categories:
90-100%: 100% free tuition
80-89%: 50% free tuition
75-79%: 25% free tuition
